The final stop prior to the Classic Championship was Lake Sakakwea. It was a cold brisk morning with a stiff breeze out of the north east. The wind blew right into the boat ramp which made unloading a bit tricky. As the day went on and the clouds moved out the lake calmed a little bit for the most part, but the morning start was certainly rough and it prevented a lot of anglers traveling to their best spots. Carl Hayden and his partner Susie were able to find the best 3 smallmouth on Lake Sakakawea that day by weighing in 6.89 total lbs. Team Bollinger came in with a strong 2nd place finish at 6.61 lbs, way to go boys!. Coming in with yet another consistent 3rd place finish was Justin Enney and his partner Drew Morgan. The next and final stop for our 2018 tour is the covenanted Badlands Bass Bandits Classic Championship on Lake Audobon and North Audobon. This 2 day tournament will have an exciting finish, not to mention crowning the angler and rookie of the year as well as other awards. Hang to your hats folks its gonna be a great finish!
